In fact, on the way back from getting four shots, Willow spontaneously said 'thank you' in a voice that told me she really meant it. She was thanking me for the large sticker she received and not the shots of course, but my heart melted anyway.
We've been praying together for others. Kyle and I just love it, because Willow mimics us. There was a precious moment in which we prayed for a baby in China known as Eli who was in critical condition. He has already received heart surgery and is now doing well!
Another thing is that she has been claiming everything lately. Instead of saying 'mine,' though, she's been pointing to things and saying, 'Willow!'
Willow is opening her heart and mind to new songs, movies, books, and TV shows as well. I'm thankful for moderation with the things she likes! It's so much fun to introduce her to new things and see what her reaction will be. She's also way more likely to enjoy things if we let her experience them when she's in a good mood! Examples are: The Little Mermaid, Taylor Swift songs, Raffi songs, Mulan, Mary Poppins, The Lion King, Cinderella's mice, and tons of library books (either about animals or the alphabet)!
Another funny fact is that sometimes at the end of saying something, particularly 'uh oh', Willow's teeth whistle.
She has recently learned that 'Mama' can also be called 'Mommy,' and she tries it out on me every once in a while.
Sometimes Willow wakes to Kyle's alarm, but we can tell she still needs sleep. Occasionally I'll put her in our bed to fall back asleep. I remember during my phase of going to my parents' bed for comfort how secure and completely indestructible I felt there. When Willow wakes up in our bed, I can see she feels similarly which is so incredible (and did not come immediately). She grins from ear to ear repeatedly, and she doesn't even ask for a bottle, which is the first thing she does when waking in her bed. It's like she wants to soak in the moment; once I saw her hold her arms up and shake her fists as if in victory!
Now for photos.

Willow was a tiger for Halloween. She wore the costume to Kindermusik the day before as well, and being the 'mama tiger' to this 'baby tiger' was fun!
She LOVES Kindermusik time. She usually runs around a bit or helps clean something up and then comes flying into my arms with a huge, proud grin. Thank you, Ms. Kat!
"Mama, the only thing that will get me out of this thing is possibly food." The swing is her favorite.
After cookie making, we did trick or treating. (Followed by practically no sleep that night!)
The pups decided to nap while she napped...
Willow came to vote!
On November 3rd, she turned...
Forever my sweet little baby...
Willow has gone to the potty several times! We aren't actively trying to get her potty trained, but she showed some interest, so we always put her on it after bath and at various other times. You go, girl!!
Looking forward to Qua Qua's 90th birthday party in Vernon this weekend. :)
