A little Halloween and a little Thanksgiving

Willow happily holding onto some Jonas adoption paperwork we got in the mail.  Every single thing gets us closer to you, baby boy!

What's better than buying toys?  Going to toy stores to play and then leaving everything there for next time!

We've had so much rain, which makes this fabulous muddy puddle to play in!

Our park closed for a while...

First time she saw brother added to my locket!  "Awwww!"

She picked a cat silhouette to put on the pumpkin this year.

Fun with a sweet friend...

She didn't want paint on her face, so this was perfect!

Let's top off a wonderful day with some ice cream...

Nothing makes her happier than playing in the sink...

Costume day at Kindermusik!  Look at that cool purple dragon!

Halloween was so fun this year!  She loves trick or treating, and this year she didn't get overwhelmed and have bad sleep afterwards.  Plus we got to see both of our families!

(Side note, since it is December now - Christmas activities have been great, too!  She loves it ALL this year, and we have been having so much fun.)

First school pics, KATC Preschool 3A!

A favorite park with a favorite friend...

That time Willow pointed to sun dried tomatoes and asked for bacon...

Willow grabbed the seatbelt like this and said she was getting married.  To Daddy!

Charlie's bday party and Lana's house for an Aggie game!

Making memories with lots of laughter involved... Cabin time with the James'!

She learned she loves hiking!  It's one of my favorite memories from childhood, too.

We kept kicking over dead trees.

Willow's favorite tree that we named 'the deer tree'...

Intense game of cards...

At Willow's cardiology appointment, Dr. Lemler said that Dr. Forbes had had a rough night on the floor.  He said Forbes adores Willow and it would make his day to see her really quickly on his way home.  So of course we waited a few minutes to see the man that rearranged our daughter's heart and extended her life!  What an incredible surgeon and an honor to visit with him again.

3AM surprise tornado warning...

Hearts full of gratitude this Thanksgiving...

Flipping through this catalogue, I said to Willow, "Mama would like to wear this dress."  Willow responded with, "That's not yours style, Mama."  Hahahaha...

Thanksgiving at Aunt Kathy's always includes a walk...

Vernon for Thanksgiving!

We tend to do three Thanksgivings...

Sock mittens are always a hit with this one...

Such fun in here with big Elmo.  Her imaginative play has taken off!

We love our local library!

She woke to the crazy hair!

Next post promises to include December  Christmas memories.

One more thing to precious baby Jonas.  This is our song for you right now, sung by The Carpenters...
